Can't be considered an exploit if it's allowed. Gravity can easily disable those elixirs like they did a few days ago with the Red Explorer's Potion (the ones they hand out for the hourly event). If it's allowed, people are allowed to ingest them.

I disagree.

If you attempt to drink a strength elixir inside Colosseum it clearly tells you in big yellow text using the potion is clearly not allowed. Using the potion during respawn is abusing what might be a hard fix for them.

I suspect a good chunk of the Warpportal crew are all asleep right now, since it's 11PM PST and they have to be in the office before 5AM tomorrow for maint.

I have been getting the "Not in a controllable state." message a lot more often tonight while collecting herbs. Might have something to do with it.

TK, be careful, they already know about the potion blackmarket you started at Izlude... I told you using fins from mermans/mermaids for the fish oil was fishy enough...

In other words it's dependent on combat? Since end of round and beginning of round are out-of-combat, and rest of Colo is in-combat. If it's combat-dependent, then that's like saying someone abused the hide ability because they use it during the out-of-combat times of Colo.

*Didn't believe such thing (being banned from a MMO) would ever happen to me.. until now* ^_^;

So I am one of those casual players, who don't really even know what are the type of things that can get you banned...

I had to come to this forum for the first time, just so I can see what I need to look into the reason(s) of the ban...

I was enjoying the game tonight, did a Deadly Poison dungeon run with 4 random (yet very nice and patient) players, then we proceeded to kill Merem together... after that I figured was a good breaking point for playing my main, and logged to my alt.... Once I logged in I noticed I couldn't move my character (which happens from time to time), so I proceeded to quit the game and re-log, and that's when I see the account ban message...

The only things I could think of that may have... somehow contribute to this ban: I got DCed 4 times (5-10 sec intervals) during the dungeon run, due to my internet connection been having issues.

same thing happened to me after I boost my friend in divided plains I enter alberta and logged off when I come back tried to logged in and it says my account has been blocked permanently I did submitted a ticket also but after that what's next? confused @_@ what's going on ....

Some elixirs are blocked from use in Colosseum but you can bypass the restrictions by using them during respawns.

LOL well that's definitely not what I'm doing. I'm just popping a good old fashioned wind elixir I got from questing.

The out of Combat is set in place for classes who have skills which can only be used out of combat. The potions wouldnt be disabled during combat if they didnt want you to use them and comparing skills to pots is like apples and oranges they just dont mix. Again im not going to pretend to know why they choose the fix they did but it's still abuse.
