Ya I have 99 dex 99 int, got some points into luk and vit.

Just became a sorc so I'm only lvl 100.

 

Nidhoggurs is probably bis so I don't die, with a ray card.

 

I'd need to get some reduced cast gear because I am missing a lot. And my spell casting with 99 dex is still so slow zzzz.

 

 Wish I could afford a skullcap. But sadly I haven't even seen one in the market.

lol just marry a linker, kaahi yourself, and win. Downfall: leveling outside of a TI map (oh my god the horror) then casttime won't matter as long as you have the buff up. Plus you can level at your own leisure. 

 

When i leveled my first sorc, and didn't have all this fancy cast stuff, i used stats instantcast with some ridiculous weapons lolol an eraser for the int+dex bonuses nimble orleans etc...  Even still, i couldn't reach it

 

However with Kaahi, you can go to places like... magma2, Juperos, Al2. While you save for your equip cast gear.

you have another day and half. it takes like half an hour to get kaahi. my linker was like lvl 30 lol

Do you think I can contact you in-game? And I plan on going dex build, already have an orleans and a nidhoggurs with a raydric. 

 

And HOW did you get your SL to 30/40? lol

 

What level do you think I should get All the AoE's outside of Psychic wave which has to be 5/5.

 

I just finished making my Soul Linker, I'm missing some defensive gear I think because even with kaahi I'm dying in Juperos

 

One more thing, I'm already lvl 101, so just wondering where I could go to level that doesn't rape me too hard >_>. Juperos mobs are obnoxious due to their long range and high dmg and low XP, unless they were changed to be a higher level and it didn't update on the db.

The dex build is harder to start, but easier to finish imo. Cause you sacrifice vit for dex. and since you need int for the damages, you're kind of stuck going dex/int until like 130ish

 

uhm, all i did was get my SL to have kaahi, it was literally like 33/16 (understatement but you get the point) so i poked spores and ant eggs. 

 

at 101 you should be trying magma 2. 

 

you should get (at least) diamond dust, and earth grave to level 5. I got varytr spear 5, cause VS has the shortest cooldown, 

 

Juperos is kinda difficult imo. takes a decent amount of comfort to solo there. If thats too hard, I recommend Abyss lake level 1 (red and green ferus) because sorcs have a natural resistance against Dragons and with dragon reductions, you take very little. All in all, it takes a little big of research ( irenewal.playragnarok.com'd monsters in the level range, and experimented there) i 150'd my first sorc in al2 though, and that was a decent grind. Sucky on the job levels, but i didn't have TI's back then. I had world map turn ins though. Gravity would have kill counts on certain maps, like rachel sanctuary that they would 3x the spawn and have a TI npc. and that was way better imo than now.

 

It gave people a reason to go on field maps to level, instead of doing a TI.

The only thing i'd tweak is... probably not getting spirit sympathy and getting arullo if you're going to use it in WOE

 

This is more towards pvm. If you want to make it pure pvm, then you can probably drop levels of vacuum for summon tera lvl 2, so you can have all elemental endows for your psychic wave.

you want fiberlock. Its too good of a skill not to have. If you need to tele a monster (example, bio 4 you can't vacuum butyou can still fiber tele).

 

Why insignias? are you planning on woeing with those? 

 

Bolts are good for leveling, but once you job change to sorcerer, you should reset because you don't need heavens drive and waste a lot of skill points anyway. 

 

also, get saftey wall.

not really, no. I don't think its necessary.

 

And mvping solo? you're not going to be able to insignia if you solo. If you mvp in a party, then your genetic's acid bomb is neutral damage.

Insignia's are only useful if you want to be a fun tank or you are killing MVPs. Using Insignia + Ventus Element Reduction you can make Valkyrie Rangris deal only 100 damage to you with her Auto Attacks XD.

I used to spell fist kill MVPs. I believe michaeleeli tried to solo Valkyrie Rangris not sure if he was successful or not.

 

Its not fast, but when the MVP is only doing 100 damage a hit to you it is kind of fun.

Yes, but if any other class competes with you over said MVP you will lose. It is fun and I'm not sure how high up you can get into Endless Tower with it solo. (Maybe until Orc Lord? Maybe higher if you have a Golden Thief Bug Card)

Actually an AOE built sorcerer should still have better DPS generally. Tanking and so on isn't dependent on the build and is just certain Sorc skills that any build can get like Insignias.

Sorcerers aren't great MVPers due to MVPs having really high MDEF in general. If you are serious about MVPing (actually even if you want to be casual about it), make a Geneticist first with decent gears, then start looking into other classes.

I still can't decide between a Sorc, GX, SC or RK for a PvM/farm class.
