Status update:

 

We've found the problem. Getting close to a full fix. It seems what broke was some alignment issues in Item Mall categories to display. It was causing the client to lock/freeze/crash, on load. We're hoping for a fix soon. We're going to do some quick testing to ensure everything looks right and start the servers up right after that.

 

Yay!!! And thank you SO much for the updates and keeping everyone informed. It's nice to see, compared to so many other games where the dev/staff leaves everyone in the dark all the time. That and I love how you actually come out and say what the issue seems to be and so on.

For better or worse, I've had better experience with being a bit more open and honest with our community. And as a player myself, would also appreciate being informed. So, it seems only right that I pass that inside information along.

 

We're building a new server and client now, from our test environment, so it shouldn't be too much longer now.

Would it be fair to request (an hour of free reset and stat reset) because of this update? mainly because most of our characters are build around "hot swapping".

hmm.... I'm going to say no. This is why, you hot swap gear based on your stats, because I seriously doubt you take the time to completely restat yourself every time you swap gear.

 

But you made me consider it because you asked so nicely.

BarbieChi, the voting was to a date period. But that doesn't mean people didn't keep 'liking' certain costumes after the fact. The listing of costumes was decided and put as part of the patch notes. We can't stop people liking pictures, short of removing the pictures entirely and that's not very nice.

And this is one of the major reasons I've stuck around, despite the botter problem.  With a dev/CM team like the one ROSE has, things can only get better, as long as we have the patience to stick it out.

 

Here's hoping that there's a fix soon!  I'm really curious about the cleric skill-reset.

My eyes widen, my heart pumped, my head shook. You.... guys are awesome! I can't wait to test it out.

 

 

I bought 2 new sketchbooks only for concepts though. The other one is for LoL skin ideas and the other is of course ya'll know :3 for my lovely thread.
