That seems about right, actually.
Right for a level 65, maybe.

Yeah we all waited for otehr issues to get fixed on THQ when the exp borked. It was never fixed.Think of all the exp you could be grinding right now if you weren't on the forums. I honestly think talks of EXP rates should wait until after the atrocious connectivity issues are fully addressed and repaired. One thing at a time guys... well 2, the Gateway issue is urgent as well, however Gateway isn't on trial in this thread.
I know what my rates were before the exp event, and last night. I'm gonna check this out.I have to side with Yurai on this one. I was on B11 of Van Cliff getting 100-1200 a kill and then, miraculously, the EXP rates doubled. I was getting about 3-4k EXP a kill. I have screen shots to prove this too. I think the mods were paying attention after all.

Then I guess its not effecting everyone. Because I still get the same exp from mobs on Hero mode as I did last night.Vargons on B11 of Van Cliff are still giving me 6-8000 points per kill. I am going to the 2x floors to see if I still get 11000 a kill, as that is what I was getting the week before thanks giving. I will let you know how that goes, but so far it would appear that between 4:30 and 5:00am PDT someone upped the base EXP value from what it was, because the Vargons gave me 900-1200 exp a kill for for about a week now.

I didnt try the basement. Maybe they boosted mobs there. I'll check later. But on the first floor on Hero Mode, I get about 4500 from the Maids with no boost at level 60. I remember getting getting nearly twice that before the event (and then absurd amounts during it, until it borked and went down)How much are you getting? I had half my guild test this and they are all back to normal numbers. If you want I can show you my data. EXP rates are stored in the server so it isn't like they could pick and choose who to work for. How much EXP do the Vargons give you. I've been using them as my control, on Hero mode of course.

It could be the mobs themselves. That happened on THQ more than once. I remember the exp was less in Artis and Rocker after the VoD patch, yet the exp was the same at lower levels. Like I said Ill look later and hold my tongue until then.It couldn't be just in the basement. I also tested the values with my ;evel 41 Assassin at Vella F4 and Elluman F4. I am getting, With resting and 5% channel bonus, 3-6000 EXP per kill. This is more than twice what I was getting prior to the time I noted the EXP value change.

I honestly wish I had. But I felt that was being TOO paranoid and wanted to just take it easy this time. So much for that :\Okay, either way I feel that we should all take record of our EXP rates. It is imperative that we record this data so we can give proof positive of any unfavorable drops from the current base value.

Well if exp is back to the old values, then I am a happy camper...but..it is still mysterious why no acknowledgment of this issue was forthcoming from the staff at Gravity.
Maybe they think us so simple-minded that we think things just arbitrarily 'happen' in a programming world?
Like one day we drive our cars and the gas mileage drops by over half and then the next day the mileage is normal and we have hot coffee and fresh warm donuts on the console when we climb in to go to work, and we are expected to just shrug and think things are 'situation-normal' eh?
Is that it?

And this is why I get a bad feeling in my gut. If someone made a mistake its fine. We all do. But I would like someone to TELL us, because all this hush-hush sneaky secretive crap makes me VERY wary. THQ pulled that **** on us long ago and denied any change was made. We all know there was, and even Barunson denied to it. Lying to your customers (especially when they have proof of the mistake) is NOT a good thing.Maybe whoever is responsible for this...mishap, doesn't want to say anything because they don't want the hammer to fall on them. I did bring this matter directly to the powers at be shortly after starting this thread, which was coincidently about 30-45 minutes before the rates went up. I never did receive a reply, and no mods have said anything here. Maybe they do want to keep it hush hush. Either way, no one can deny the evidence, and I have proof of the rates prior to the change and after.

Personally I want to know if this new rate is the new base. If it is, I'm out.

Hmm....then that would mean that the base value was dropped to ~25% and is not at roughly 50%
I, too, can attest to this matter because the top floors of Van Cliff, i.e. B22-25, used to give me about 10k a kill and now give a little more than 5k. This rate change is a step in the right direction, but still is not what the base EXP value was at two weeks ago, when no event was taking place.
