My top pick would be a better VIP area with:

  • Save
  • Repair
  • Tool dealer
  • Ammo dealer
  • Town warper
  • Bg warper
  • Woe warper
  • TI warper
  • Instance warper NPCs (Divided up into daily, 3 day, and 7 day instances - not sure how to deal with making sure pre-req quests are met, Im sure its possible to do so.)
  • Better VIP buffs (Odas + Poring Pretzel)
  • No chat rooms
  • Storage
  • Guild storage
  • Seasonal event giveaway NPC & warper (ie warps to lutie during the Christmas Central Lab event)
  • Second "spooky machine" (Login bonus)
  • Damage testing dummies (different sizes and elements)

 

Maybe some secure 2 person chat rooms to conduct trades in, that automatically logs the chat. There could be side rooms added for recruiting for parties.

 

Basically Eden without all the extraneous NPCs + some more useful ones that are clean and organized logically. Best map I can think of for this would be to re-use the tutorial island building.

I thought those comments were valid. Asking for transparency is normal no? Especially when an event wasn't "made" by the GMs and instead by another player, it makes other players feel like there are hidden motives. That's why I asked Campitor to be as transparent as he possibly could be everytime I talk to him.

Seriously, in 2019 who got time for 1.5x with VIP? Don't tell me the usual "but they do frequent exp events". Yes, they do, because 1.5x with VIP is just straight trash. During the share event, the 2.5-3x was fire. That stuff was good. And this is a Korean grind based game, so you ideally want to have more than one characters anyway because you gotta farm zeny, and everything is so expensive on this server. And you have to use BMX all the time because without your patience will run out.

 

 

Leveling past 150

 

If you survived until level 150 with 1.5x VIP, or god bless you if you are on 1x and don't even use BMX and haven't left yet, this is the point you will. This part is straight trash. I hear you "but go bio4 or NCT" - i leveled up multiple accounts of chars at those places, so please. Bio4 can take ages to start, and while i like Lighthalzen i don't want to have a 1.5 hour cinema there staring while waiting for a party to start. And someone "gtg bye" after 1 round.

NCT is even worse, that place is pure cancer. A maze-type map with mobs scattered around and the density is so low you can flywing around and only find one or two.

 

 

MVP / Instance Rewards

 

You made it to 175, got some gears, invested a lot of time and money. Gonna have a good time, you go instances and OGH boss will troll you by dropping OCA with 50% chance only. Really? Faceworm Queen dropping MCA with 50% chance. Reaaally? And most MVPs don't even drop anything valuable, you can run ET 1-50 three times and end up with nothing. Totally worth my time. Whatever you go do some dishes at Prontera castle, because the dishwasher boy quit his job. After enough tokens the cat at the basement will slap Level1 enchant on your Robe. Sky fortress? 0.01% drops, you can farm all day long and end up with nothing.

The staff will look into this later and hopefully give us an answer.

Seriously there really doesn't need to be a thread for this. Especially if nothing will come out of it anyways. We just want content, is that so hard to ask? Every game comes out with patches that release new content so the playerbase doesn't get bored. Well, every game other than this one. We are so behind on updates that even the rare updates now and then don't really mean much. VIP is outdated, cash shop is outdated, instances are outdated, MVP Summoner is outdated, PVP is nonexistent and WOE is barren due to cheaters and outdated rewards. Do you see a common trend here? Almost everything is OUTDATED. You release OCPs frequently but the content is so outdated that almost everyone is sitting around with end game gear with nothing to do. Sales decline and you wonder why when VIP doesn't really amount to anything and there is such an oversaturation of OCP gears that people don't even bother to buy new boxes because they can already destroy everything in game with their current setup. We've been level capped at 175 for what feels like a decade now while other official servers are at 185, Star Emperor, Soul Reaper, Bossnia, full Illusion Instances, NOGH, YSF, RK update, Mech update, AB update, Sprite updates, Homun update, GMT update, new Buff items, new Shields, etc. I'm probably still missing a ton of updates. It almost feels like an entirely different game in iRO, what an actual shame. Such a dedicated player base but such a lackluster overall product.

more storage on VIP. and a custom hard mode ET (5 or more players in a party considering the pops on the server) that can be repeated daily w/ 1 random OCP box as a reward after finishing 101st floor.

Well, since we have an opportunity for this. I been meaning to write since I saw this post so, here it goes. Please take this into consideration, it appears people have mentioned things not changing after these kinds of threads going up. I will be respectful when it comes to all this.

 

Before I begin I will ask the question that I want to see answered. Please. Please. 
 

"What are you guys capable of actually doing? What is within reason that you guys can change? What can you do?"
 

without an answer to this, the whole thing is vague and well, that's it. It just is vague and I do not know what to even suggest but here goes what I want to say/

First of all, I'll open with giving thanks for the opportunity to allows us to give our suggestions. I have noted that we should not include stuff like kRO updates or jRO gears and you want original ideas. I think we should first begin with what is done right. Specially because when I started iRO I had heard a lot of bad things such as it's all p2w and that the bots are everywhere and you can't farm and you can't make zeny and market is so bad, etc. True to some extent but it isn't as bad as it was. Here's what I think has gone right.

Merry Badger update from 2018. It was a wonderful opportunity to get some stuff such as buff from consumables that were otherwise only obtainable in the cash shop. Bounty Boards, Gramps, Faceworm Nest Instance went really well together as these 3 different methods of obtaining Eden Merit Badges are present at different points of the early, mid and late game and can be utilized by players then. Of course, you earn more post mid-game due to Faceworm Nest becoming accessible so that works.

 

Eve Natalia. This NPC simply allows MVPing and running ET to become profitable and relevant. 

Eat Gear Mimic. Goes somewhat hand in hand with Eve Natalia but the utmost importance is that anyone can create safe certificates at any point in the game. Early, Mid, Endgame. basically I can catch up to other players by making a whitesmith, refining stuff as I level up on my main account and make zeny and get to a point where I have decent gears. Wonderfully done allowing a great item that stimulates the market and is also relevant in events for refines to be accessible to all.

Mini VIP. Although it isn't all that great, having some of what the VIPs have is nice. Access to all warps, the +7 all stat buffer and the 10 VIP Token of Siegfried. I know there's more but these are the main ones as they give normal players a chance to farm and obtain this from the Merry Badger's badge exchange into magical stones into mini VIP. 

Grandma Boxter. My absolute favorite NPC. The ultimate gamble. This is what allowed me to be able to afford or obtain gear that was cash shop exclusive. Temporal Ring, Seraphim Coronet, Abyss Dress. All obtainable from this. yes, it takes longer for any normal player to do this but the matter of the fact is, it is what allows anyone to not have to p2w and get their gears when they can actually earn them through in-game farming. I know there's a lot of mixed feelings but the reality is that this NPC's existence alone is already a well done effort from iRO. 

 

Bounty Boards.  I think I seen someone mentioning to finish a project on this. Not sure what it is about but, I can guarantee that I would not have been more motivated to do 1x leveling on iRO if it wasn't for the bounty boards in conjunction with the Eden Group Quests. Additionally the Eden Group Leveling Quests. These really allow for not just a grind but the possibility of exploring areas and testing your character (if you're a newbie) and their potential to fight monsters you just go and kill 150 of. Could even get cards, can also get the Eden Merit Badges and the zeny that goes along with it is really helpful. 

Token Hammer. This is the absolute best. People viewed this on stream and were surprised at the fact that iRO had an event that wasn't p2w and was universal to everyone. THIS is the kind of stuff you guys need every once in a while. Give us the option to grind and farm and not have to "p2w" that will attract more people to the server. 

If anything I've showcased all of these things on my weekend stream, some people praise it, other's are surprised to know such things exist and when you make a safe certificate on stream after people think it is cash shop only, well, it only changes things.

NOW. I know this is mostly PVM. I do not know WoE or PVP. I leave that topic to the players that do know it. Do your thing guys.
 

Now, here's the deal. People will always tell me about how iRO is very p2w. Looking at what we have is great. And no I do not want to say "but it is not enough." it isn't that it isn't enough, it's just the fact that we don't need to have a paywall for Marriage or a paywall for malangdo culverts.

I am going to avoid mentioning instances but, If you had GMT enchants and finished Thanatos Weapons enchant. I could see myself doing some video content and probably just running my stream with only in-game equipment and not OCPs. I know OCPs are a selling point for you guys but the thing is, people see that this gets pushed more.

The original idea here is:
Remove the paywall for marriage being a certificate of being VIP. I did mention this in an FAQ but I strongly ask you to reconsider this.
Remove the paywall for Malangdo Culvert for VIP and add other things that do not come out of the cash shop aka silvervines. Don't worry, these will still sell for resetting enchants.

If you want to see more players attracted, you could probably try to ask people who stream or make content what could actually help. Hold a meeting a forum, get feedback from these individuals. 

People that have viewed my stream REALLY liked the anniversary event from last year, they liked the TLAP event, they liked the Xmas Clab. You guys do really well with events. I Know people want content but the first line in here is original ideas. Here's some more feedback before I add more. People do NOT like the idea of 1x leveling, which is fine, it's 2019 everyone wants things faster hence they go to elsewhere or whatever. 

Original Ideas:
Add EXP events on the weekends, even if 125% or 150%, people really like that, it gets people together to play or just grind. 
Complete the Bounty Board project you guys have in mind.
Complete the Merry Badger rebalancing you planned on doing

Complete Eve Natalia, make any tweaks to Eat Gear Mimic that need be.

 

If you do these things some people might have more of an incentive to play. If you want to bring back players ( I know I said I wouldn't post this but) you gotta do a bit more with the updating.

In fact, I will leave off with this question until I figure out what else can be said that others haven't said but:

What is required for us to get content? What is required of us for Gravity to notice us and hear our needs for the server?

 

Hope to hear back from you guys.

And Last but not least, I think we need more streaming to go on, that's how people notice the server. Everytime someone comes into stream they ask what server it is. There's interest, but we need to get ourselves out there.

New HP and SP recovery items and make it work like how Kahluna Milk and Basil mechanics.

They restore HP/SP every certain second for a set of time. (HP/SP recovery over time)

I’m just gonna talk about OCP related issue. As a server we are pretty unique since we were the first to bring in OCP and stuck to only having jRO cash shop boxes coming from it. Other servers like twRO and bRO saw their attractiveness and also imported OCP, but they also brought in jRO event gears as OCP that we didn't. I think that's an opportunity for us to be even better actually. More on that later.

 

1. Issue with OCP and our slow update model
Problem with OCP is that it is cash shop item made for jRO and their game model- which comprise of events every few months (in addition to normal updates which are irregularly scheduled). New events come with great jRO gears that rival or outright beat new cash shop gears with good enough RNG enchants or MVP combo. They are also mainly daily quest related, so players have high incentive to play the game everyday- especially if they bought cash shop gears cause it helps them farm these events better.

This brings us back to iRO. We follow kRO update model and content, but receive jRO cash items, not kRO's.

 

In addition to not having jRO quests contents that match the jRO cash gears, our current kRO version is so far behind that the jRO cash gears far exceed the performance of almost everything else we have in the current server. As i’ve said somewhere else, we are using 2019 Cash gears for 2015 game content. It feels good to play like a GOD for a while, but later on it will feel pointless, since:

 

(a) Gears found in current instances are non-competitive to OCP cash gears.

While there are still instances being played daily, these are mostly those with worthwhile MVP cards (low chance RNG), consumable items and weapons in certain situations (Sky fortress mainly, also low chance RNG). The chances for MVP cards is too low for casual players to feel incentivized (as they should be though) while consumables are great only for those who have a reason to play in the first place

( b )Most content became too easy and not challenging since we using easily acquired updated gears on these old contents
The game gets stale very quickly for most players when there's really worthwhile to play.

 

 

2. Brainstorming solutions
Now, what can be done? There are a lot of things that’s possible outside just “faster content update”- since we know that it is not within our control. I would like to offer my two solutions here:

(a) Re-incentivizing current game content to be rewarding in today’s standards.

  • Make it a competitive form of leveling via an introduction of a Eden Bounty Board that rewards EXP for instance boss kills.
    This is mainly thought out for new players. Some may argue that we already have Gramps, but that is exactly the point. Gramps makes other forms of leveling too weak and this solves that by bringing alternate forms of leveling in other servers to be competitive here. Grouping up to clear instances can be a really fun experience in a group especially if it helps you level. I am very sure this will make the game far more friendly for new players especially. The EXP doesn't have to be too much, but as long as it is competitive with gramps, it will be a good option.
  • Include more instances with EMB recycling reward (like Faceworm Nest) and then balance out EMB rewards. 
    I really like our server's custom EMB system. It offers you one system to deal with almost everything that's unattractive and make them attractive. Case in point, I doubt most players would have played face worm nest as extensively as they do now if FW Skins did not offer EMB exchange. All you have to do is simply add EMB trades to 1-2 unique items for each instance and almost all of them will be worthwhile to play even if their gears and consumables already become irrelevant. After that, simply make sure that your new EMB rebalance offers attractive enough exchanges that do not break the server balance and people will be playing all sorts of instances all the time. Some example, OCP remix boxes could be NOT cash shop and made for limited exchange (10box limit maybe?) every month for each account for 100-150 EMB badges for each box.

    As for the pace of adding instance stuff to EMB exchange, i highly recommend doing so with easier instances such as Airship Raid first. There is a severe lack of playable and worthwhile instances for new players who choose not to indulge in OCP gears at the beginning, and this will solve it. Airship raid is not too hard for new players and is still pretty interesting IMO with their new cards. Normal Airship gears can be exchanged for 2-3EMB each and Felrock gears probably 10EMB each.

 

( b ) Introduce our own new custom content to bring in challenging and rewarding experiences for players that matches up to current power levels.

 

I know we already have events pretty frequently. However, many will agree that most of these aren't enough because they are only one-off and offer non-competitive rewards. I know it takes time to make these events, BUT if even half of our events include a sort of daily and competitive component , i bet most players will be more tolerant of slow content updates (with their hands being occupied). I would suggest that  for every one costume one-time only event, the next one should be a daily custom challenge based. 

 

i. Event Content Aspect

Here's what i can take away from jRO and other successful games that we can follow:

  • Include a daily/weekly boss fight through instance or time scheduled raid. This players incentive to log in and play everyday. The TLAP and Sledge back to the past were memorable BECAUSE they had this. There were some issues with Sledge back to the past- but that is with the reward aspect of it. I'm sure almost all participating players had fun with this event.
     
  • In some events, there can be a nightmare version with better rewards for challenge aspect. Like access for lv160+ only, solo only etc.

 

ii. Event Reward Aspect

  • When using custom MVPs for event, make them drop minimal stuff and make most rewards based on NPC quest clearance. This makes party play more encouraged rather than discouraged because drops matter less. *not applicable when the reward is MVP kill itself*
     
  • If the reward itself is in killing existing MVPs with card drop chance, plan the list properly so others won't complain like in SBTTP. 

     
  • Sometimes the rewards should be equivalent to OCP or better. Since we did not make the mistake of directly bringing in jRO event items and there a lot of them being requested(basically MVP combo), i really hope we can import them here as part of our custom content rewards. Make it layered with RNG so it’s not too easy to get these gears, maintaining their rarity and other OCP gears’ value. Just need to repeat the quest infrequently so people will have chances to get these gears next time if they didn’t get them this round. 

     
  • If jRO event gears are not possible, we can use older OCP gears as reward. Don’t sell remix anymore and make it a custom event item so not all items are cash shop only, making playing the game pointless. In this manner, players can pay cash for first access to new OCP or wait a few months to get chances at them from playing custom events for remix. They will still have a lot of incentive to buy OCPs they really want since nobody will know which OCP item comes into the remix reward in the next custom event. 

 

With the above pointers and someone else's idea of an Endless Tower Basement, i can already formulate and offer a simple event that will be fun for many for a month or two. This is free real estate so you may take it entirely as you please.

I think the only way to improve IRO is more contents to play with, nothing else and please completed all the list of contents that we still don't have until now ... and stop with waiting for KRO for deliver etc etc etc ...

Yeah we also would like to know “what GM/CMs are capable of” because everytime we make suggestions, it only ended up with some lengthy discussions (just like what happened to a woe rebalancing thread made by a CM) then thread closed.

On behalf of the Ragnarok staff, I'd like to start a discussion on any ideas you all may have on improving Ragnarok Online. What do we mean by "improving"? It could be anything, from the type of content you want to see or the type of updates you like, anything you think would make it a better game.

 

Please refrain from citing things you want from kRO or jRO - we're aware that everyone very much wants the latest updates from kRO, but in this instance we're looking for original ideas on what the players would like to see in our game  :ok:

As exact opposite to what my motivations before renewal (soulless grind to be ready for WoE) I spend a lot more time messing around leveling as many characters as possible than doing instances or PvP, but I feel like there could be some QoL changes to quests and stuff that would help:

 

Quests - I love doing a large stack of things then turning all in at once, the more the better, but if we could at least get additional custom versions of the Eden 30 kill/item turn in/spot visit quests as well as modified bounty boards (below), or maybe custom daily quests like Banquet and Verus (or tweak Terra Gloria exp a little), I know the boards and quests drop off because there isn't a lot of monster/map choices at 140-150+, but I rather spend half a day stacking a pile of quests vs. verus then bells, bells, bells, bells, more bells the rest of the night.

 

Bounty Boards -

1. More of them (Verus!)

2. Streamline existing ones to a few maps and little traveling (Apocalypse, Frus and Skogul, and sometimes Remover and Kobold Archer tend to ruin my "Take All" experience, personally. Don't get me started on the New World one) or allow single EMBs for each
3. Maybe have special events similar to spotlight for them?

4. Numbers that aren't 150 for uncommon monsters?

 

Content - 

Omitting the usual pushing kRO to work harder to get us caught up, maybe more modded dungeons like Byalan Overlook (with kill quests) for higher levels, like perhaps underground CT maps (high orcs, bathories, penomenas) or other maps with desirable class-specific materials

 

Gramps -

High+ with a rotation schedule that involves keeping bio monsters together or separate (and no leftovers to ruin your day)

 

VIP -

More EXP

Buffer +10 stats persist on death

Dungeon Warper expansions like Thanatos Tower 7 and Nameless would be nice

 

Costume Enchant Stones -

Needs a whole revamp, the work put into making a ton more costumes enchantable is nice but the layers of RNG is ridiculous, either make the stones easier to obtain or remove the failure rate. +1 ASPD costumes are worth as much as the highest demand chase OCP gears now, absolutely insane.

 

Economy/Zeny Cap/etc - 

I p2w enough to have decent spending flow in game, but if all the gears I want are locked behind "All over 1b Leave offer only" capped vends or piles of "check gear" chatrooms in Eden that lead to confusing back and forth trades, I generally avoid it like the plague, I want to at least be able to buy over-upgraded weapons in vends again, in any way that can be arranged via more zeny sinks or alternate currencies or whatever.

 

Upgrading - 

I like where +7-+9 is at where you can spend BSBs or wait til enriched hammer, but buying giant stacks of Safe7s to is quite annoying, can we have Enriched Hammer expanded to start from +4 maybe? This is probably a long shot, but maybe an event Blessed Hammer that uses Enriched too?

While I'm worried about what direction this will go and if this post will bear any fruit knowing the issues with kRO,etc. I'd want to leave a few suggestions for what can be done to improve aspects of the game:

1. Difficulty Sliders for Instances 
Looking at both the past and the present, instances would either require a good party to go on with or just good equips to go solo, however, there should also be incentives to doing instances and not just the zeny to gain,etc. 

 

There are people who aren't really PVP/WoE freaks plus they like to see a good bit of the story thrown into the mix when doing instances, plus they'd love to have fun with taking on monsters,etc.

 

I for one would love to see Instance/PVM gears be used again, where this will not only be good early on but can be used in the Endgame in terms of doing hard quests, how to connect this with the difficulty sliders? The Harder the difficulty, the better the rewards, duh. 

 

2. Multiple modes for WoE

As I've seen from mixed opinions, we only have vanilla WoE and TE.

To spice up things and have diversity of stuff to use,etc. here are a few modes I suggest [THIS SHOULDN'T REPLACE THE CURRENT WOEs as there are many people who made alot of investments]:

A. No Biolab Headgears - We all know how OP these dirty sons of guns are. To level the playing field, Having these disabled would give anyone whether they are F2P/P2P a good time, or enjoy a battle of attrition for instance, since from many others, WoE's just a one shot wonder fest. 

B. No OCPs - Not everyone has enough money or time to invest for these items, considering the walks of life and Economic Conditions everyone in here comes from. For example, no one in the Philippines has enough money/time to invest for the game compared to those from America, Japan, you name it. This would lead to everyone experimenting with a few old gears [hopefully] and we can hope to see them being used in the playing field once again. F2P will be able to join in with gears gained from PVM,Instances,etc. P2P can hope to give themselves a challenge by doing a test of skill. 

[Or otherwise, both can be combined into one mode.] 

C. No pots - For the LOLZ or rather, a test of killing fast enough. [Idek why I put this in here] 

 

3. Show that time is money or more.

 

Like what others would've said, and recalling part of my first statement, Make sure that the players investing their time here will bear fruit. Instead of those just going for OCPs and just need to level and skip to the endgame. In fact, if it gives them something that rivals OCPs or even better, depending on how they'll enchant it, refine it [Milking the refine system Ayy]. F2P or P2P, anyone will get by.

 

Similar to the system of Grand Chase Dimensional Chaser, The game will give you good stuff/units if you're willing to be patient and invest time in it. 

 

4. Log-in Awards

It only occured to me today that only RO or atleast this server is the only one/game without a log-in incentive. This should atleast provide them slowly but surely options to gaining high end gears,etc.

The current totality of my play lately has been checking new cash shop boxes, Reflect-Autocast leveling (AFK) an AB, vending, and ET since I mostly know exactly what the reward at the end will be.

 

QoL:

Doing ET exposes a ton of problems with the game - mainly how broken loot and inventory management is. With my guild we cleared floor 101 nine times this weekend. To make the most zeny for myself and my friends I loot every equipment from ET. All said I ended up picking up over 1100 different equipment from those nine runs. I'm very thankful for Eve Natalia, Eat Gear and Ben Recycle making dealing with the fallout of ET manageable and would love to see an expanded list of items accepted by these NPCs. When in the instance the juggling of items is painful, can cause disconnects from putting items in your cart, and is overall a very frustrating experience. The 100 item limit with an update from kro may help in the future but beyond that the fact I can't put all of these items into one storage on my VIP account is baffling. Why have any limit at all on Kafra storage and 600 is an odd choice. Another QoL change is the vending limit of 12 items and/or offline vending. Fortunately I can take advantage of the free to play part of the game and make other accounts to hold and vend items but on the accounts I pay a monthly subscription for the fact I still don't have enough storage based on my playstyle is frustrating. I shouldn't need to have two computers running literally 8 or 9 clients total just to sell things like I have been doing after every weekend.

Remodel Eden and add a wing for chatrooms and a wing for shops while disabling those both everywhere else in Eden.

I really like the EMB system and would like to see more ways of gaining them. I tend to only get them from Gramps and exchanging OPB. Seeing more items like things which are currently dropping from MVP but would be considered junk being able to be exchanged is great.

 

Leveling:

As Netha and others have mentioned the two Renewal changes of exp bands and the prevention of creating large groups of monsters has made me not want to grind any monster except when there is a Bounty Board involved. Of these two issues what I want to see most is the exp band system being returned to the system which allows me to go to any area I feel like leveling at and be able to get a set amount of exp from a monster. Currently I feel punished when I don't just follow from one Bounty Board to the next ignoring 90% of the areas of the game. I especially miss the challenge of taking a low level character and fighting a monsters way above their level which has a lot of risk and then offers a ton of exp as the reward. I see the Illusion Dungeon's return to this system as a huge step in the right direction but should be expanded back to all areas.

Assuming the previous request is too much to ask - leveling past 150 has too few rewarding options so could add more Bounty Boards at higher level areas like Verus since the short term goals they provide are good encouragement to keep progressing.

 

Events:

The Gilded Galapagos event was one of the most fun events I've done in years. The rewards being based on participation made the event fun and unlike almost all other content in RO doesn't punish you for bringing as many players as possible. Events like the more recent A Simple Request while similar ended up with it's reward being randomized depending on your connection and how many others were there which made it not as fun. Also with it having a fixed amount of rewards spread over the map it punishes you for bringing friends. So more events like Gilded Galapagos where the more the merrier!

One frustrating thing is often when there is an event that increases rates it does both drops and exp. Ideally those should come in progression right after each other allowing us as players to focus our time on what will help our progress the most. This is especially bad during card drop events since based on how the rng works no matter what the exp rate is it will feel like a waste of time compared to farming for cards.

 

VIP:

The rewards should be improved. I'm fine with the +7 stat benefit but strongly dislike the 30min timer and the effect ending if you die. What I would like to see is something similar to Oda buff but not as strong so as to not supersede Oda. While taking Oda as a template but with between +5-9 stat bonuses which can lasts for two hours and stays through death would be a welcome addition from VIP NPCs. Makes it long enough for WoE and any instance. For other VIP things I agree with VModCinnamon for more warps and increased exp rate. Other nice perk I saw mentioned would be per account daily/weekly/monthly login rewards and if we could designate which character receives the RODEX with the daily reward that'd be nice as well. 

An interesting change for drop/exp rates could be to have a consistent high rate like what we get during Xmas or the end of Share events but at all times for VIP. Part of this is when a Share event happens the rate as applied to VIP wouldn't change just normal players rates. Essentially at all times with VIP you have 350% exp and 200% drops which would be allowed to be modified by Cash Shop Battle Manuals and Gum but disabling all other equipment based buffs to those rates. With this change there's never a bad time to level or farm when you pay for VIP.

Allow sharing some VIP benefits like opening VIP only instances as party leader and allowing all to enter Malangdo Culverts for example

 

Cash Shop:

Prices in the Cash Shop are way out of balance and need adjustment badly.

 

KRO attention needed: 

Not much you can do about it without KRO but duping being a thing is baffling to me that it hasn't been quashed ages ago.

 

 

Want to add my voice to everything blackCROSSCY and Hikari mention in their first posts. Also on page 4 Jerbear's Overhaul Archaic Systems part has interesting suggestions I'd love to see some version of!

 

Crazy Ideas:

Lastly and I realize maybe not the best suggestion but with everyone who WoEs saying it's dead maybe add God Items as rewards from PVM content. Personally I find the drama and cloud of insults/hate surrounding PVP completely distasteful so having that content be freed from that part of the game and added to something more positive and ideally party oriented/required would be a welcome change. All those players say they're there for the fun of the fight anyway so taking them at their word I don't see why moving what in the age of OCP are the not so great rewards would be a problem and would allow a new set of players to strive for the interesting items.

We have a meeting with studio on 12/11 at 5PM to discuss your feedback. Currently we are dividing what we want to do into what we can do without the studio and what the studio will support. Once that is complete we will be able to announce the Warpportal plans for updating PVP in 2019 including a time line for the changes.


I believe this was the last reply to the most recent public feedback thread.

Since then, I think there have been some battleground changes, but addressing many of the WoE issues has not been discussed yet. Unless I missed it.
