Okay so to add levity to all this dark speculation, what do you do for a day-1 server opening/grinding session? For restart I began with water and chips, did the quickest fast food run ever, then wrapped up the night with an old fashion on ice. ^_^

What is this "Transcendence Account Thread"? The only RT thread I know about on this forum is this one, and unless you want to try and convince me each of us 41 people have viewed the thread 900 times, I'm going to have to say I don't believe you.

This is what I firmly believe. At launch RT will be a wonderful Ragnarok experience. Even the most crude RE:Start was.

But since I'm not an oracle, I can't predict the long term outcome.

What I can predict more or less accurately is: On the first day of our new game, porings will be rare ^^'

Zero was around 100k IDs trying to log in on launched. (Yes the server couldn't hold such amount of IDs and broke down lol)
Now around 2500 IDs active, 2 years from launched date.

Here are numbers I did not have. Interesting, really... I heard that Zero had huge problems with bots, is this true? If it is, maybe they are partially responsible for the decay.

Still, a server with 2.5k players online seems pretty healthy to me. Maybe not able to keep a nice team working solely on it though

i was wondering if this server will have extended jobs implemented and buffed? I saw on kRO:Zero they have Oboro/kagerou Job (2 job Ninja class) balanced. I'm a fan of Ninja class (actually i play RO because Ninja, i don't care about other jobs).

and A LOT want, just look at re:start before bots. To be honest, i would even take restart before bots again. I just dont like the patch ro took from 3rd and beyond. +20? What the?

I'm attracted with zero mechanics. starting only with first classes. lot of quest, less grind, a lot of equipments. I don't really care about bots, they are a consequence of a bad server.

• Can only register 1 account. If going by the known limits, it is 3 game IDs per game, it is possible there's an exception here for beta release. Need official response.

A lot of people still like PC RO. We can see that there are many private servers running. Even a trash mobile game like RoM has people playing and spending crazily to be the best. Though, no one wants to join iRO Chaos for a good reason. It's an official server. It is a god damn old server. New players or returning players have every reason to be scared away by long term, daily active vets. This is totally understandable. I quit playing for one year and I know if I went back to WoE, I would be the noobest RG out there (assume we still have WoE lel). So imagine people who are away for 2+ years. I understand why vets in Chaos want iRO to continue focusing on Chaos. At the same time, I also know that there are many players outside Chaos who are waiting for a new official server to start over again

Finally made my RT pre register. My chrome browser was giving me trouble all last week! Anyways... B on the look out for HoddToward the Thief when RT is launched. "RO:T simply works!"

WP just need to learn from their mistakes.

 

- Don't rush to open the new server. Plan accordingly and review the data/updates thoroughly.

- Anti-bot should be implemented when you open up the new server.  

- Kafra shop should only have basic items (battle manual, gum, cosmetic headgear).  Don't put token of siegfried in kafra shop, make priest useful.
