Ey riek yur guide, but, I highly suggest that Oboro use Happo Kunai to level instead of Magic skills as you get no new magic skills, and Zangetsu also boost patk, Happo Kunai is a 7x7 throw kunai skill that does close to 4 times the damage, its comparable to arrow storm. Magic ninjas are very expensive and slow I mean OBBBOOORRRROOOO... ._____.

I HOPE NO ONE GETS ANGRY FOR ME POSTING THIS

but this ISSSS WHAT I have discovered so far about oboro .____. you can review it if you like some of it you can add it n stuff when we get oboro!!!

YES I COPIED AND PASTED MY POST FROM CS FORUMS lol.. anyway here

___________________________________________________________________________

Otay as everyone who has met me knows, I'm obssesed with Oboros, and I've been trying to think of some nice builds anyway I'll post the 3 I decided on and what they'd mainly focus on in woe.... Though I want opinions on skills you think are better or just builds you think are better in general... lol

Build 1 - Kunai/Debuff
http://irowiki.org/~...l1saArAaOdBdBhn

Description - Mainly this build will set up iron spikes at the entrance of castels to immobleize players much like Extreme Vacume. They will also make use of zenkai which when equiped with a water based weapon can freeze people who are carded with marc at a 20% chance (unless I'm wrong on this). they will also use Happo Kunai to assist in precast with moderate damage 7x7 aoe. Nothing special but a nice debuff precast help build, though it would be wise to drop the kunai in favor of getting Jyusatsu (removes soul links)

Stats - I didn't really do a stat build for this since its sorta subpar imo

Build 2 - Debuff/Killing Strike
http://irowiki.org/~...Ol1s1bnaodBdBhn

Description - This build has the same debuffs as the previous but no iron spikes, instead this build favors dealing damage through Happo Kunai, as well as Killing Strike. Would mostly be employed for stritigic (sp I can't spell I know lol) kills, such as remove a pesky sorcerer, or take out the strings of an enemy precast, this would allow the sura's to focus on taking out AB's or the damage dealers of an opposing precast. Best part of this Build I had 16 left over skill points so it may become even more useful but I'm gonna review the skills more before I make my decision.

Stat Build
Str - 100
Agi - 1
Int - 70
Vit - 120
Dex - 70
luk - 1
(you'll have some stat points remaining use them as you see fit)
Mainly you buff int and dex for cast times, and vit for hp as well as KS damage, Str adds to KS's damage as well.

Build 3 - Mucha Nage
http://irowiki.org/~...sOl3XbnaodBdBhn

Description - This build is similar to the former as in it is a killer build. Instead of focusing on KS (which the skill will still be learned) The oboro will focus more on MN skill, which deals 50~100k damage on average (before damage modifiers) This build most likely be used to oneshot various targets on teh field, and unlike the KS build when using MN the hp won't automatically drop to 1 making MN a spamable skill. It'll be very similar to HSCR of white smiths, These Oboro would also serve as breakers due to their high aspd.

Stat Build -

Str - 80
Agi - 120
Vit - 100
Int - 22
Dex - 1
Luk - 70
Since MN is aspd based agi is your best friend much like with assassins or HSCR smiths, I'm still not sure if its affected by base atk so for now I added str and luk, Int is for more sp. This build will also get moderate damage from KS as well. Though if str doesn't play a role the build should look more like as follows

Str - 1~6
Agi - 120
Vit - 100
Int - 80
Dex - 75
Luk - 1~6

mildly similar to a DB rk other then the fact that AGI is the base stat. Though with that stat build I would suggest dropping KS and other attack skills and picking up most of the debuff skills as well.

Sooooooooo those are all the builds I've thought of so far, haven't decided which I wanna use sooo which do you like, anything you see wrong with my builds? have your own you wanna share? DEW ET! causee I wanna see nya~ <3

Edit: I didn't include gears due to the fact I don't know all of the impending Kagerou/Oboro gears that will be released. Though alot of it will be common sense such as KS build would need hp modifiers, and MN would need aspd boots + armor percing would be nice too IE. Ice pick/Memory of Thantos.

Waterball KIND of worth it, due to being a 6250% MATK skill, opposed to the other things a ninja can have for magic. But well, I have no idea of the size of the fixed cast time of water ball, and how the elemental spirit things a ninja have can support their magic.

And IF they support non-ninja magic.

* I play in Classic server*

I am currently playing a Magic Ninja right now but I've been thinking of creating a new char.

I was thinking of making a Kunai Ninja. Right now I have Ninja Suit[1] and Shinobi Sash.

I have no idea how to play Kunai Ninja. Could anyone give me tips/equipment/stats? I'm generally going to be 1:1 hunting. Thank you

It's an MVP card, sadly.
Otherwise it might be fun to mess around with in a select few watery areas (Abyss).

as to waterball on a ninja they have watery evasion making waterball usable on any map... the talismans are supposed to increase elemental damage based on the talisman used and with Izayoi the damage could be quite great.... as for the question of kunai ninja on classic i did that back in the days of prerenewal and it was very slow since the damage was so low... in classic magic ninja are stronger than kunai ninja just as in renewal kunai ninja are stronger than magic types...

Ugh.. since I'm kinda off from RO for now, it will take some time for me to search through kRo info on oboro or Kagerou, if you guys have any particular question regards to these issues, PM me or something. and BTW, Happo Kunai is trash now due to their patch a year ago. it was dealing 500k when it was post patch, now its totally trash. Also, it is now 3x3 instead of 7x7.

Its probably cheaper than Kunai/Shuriken ninja because now kunai kagerou/oboro have to tank instead of cicadaing.
I'd definately go with magic oboro. if you're kagerou, hybrid is not a bad of decision.

I can give anyone who are interested in knowing detailed build/gear for future kagerou/oboro but as i lost interest in iRo, its hard for me to give you guys any info regards to price and stuff.

KS kagerou is still viable after they nerfed coin throw but coin throw is still one of the good pvp skill for kagerou/ninja.

But remember, Vit is vital for any kind of future kagerou or oboro.(good news is that oboro could possibly do insta cast with insane gear selection)

and if MN is what i think it is, it does Fix dmg and now it deals reduced damage in PVP.

And those of you who are asking me about Classic Guide for Ninja, Sorry i was a bit off from Ro for a while. when i have enough stuff on Classic Ro, i will try and make a good guide. but if its similar to pre renewal, i might be able to pull up old guide i made for pre renewal and start from there.

Um, what if I wanted to be a Hybrid Throwing and Magic-type ninja? O_o I see the builds for going just the separate Magic or Throwing, but what do you suggest for a hybrid build (recommended stats and skills) like what I want? O,o

stats for hybrid throwin magic type- str 95, int 100, dex 96, vit 100 agi 30, luck 2.... 100 for vit to prevent stun... the higher the level of dagger throwing the more damage exploding kunai will do...

already tested this two weapon (+6 quad archel skeleton main gauche vs +9 glorious gradius) with my friend

the result is +6 Quad Archel Skeleton Main Gauche deal more damage with KS while +9 Glorious Gradius deal more damage with Throw Kunai

tested using 99/70 Ninja with stats 90 str 99 vit and the rest is luk vs a low level Knight :)

Since all the equation for ninja have changed, I will be updating this guide more properiate to the current system. Also, since there's already guide for kagerou and oboro so I think its pointless to dedicate this guide to them. Although, if I think its needed to include some stuff here I will be glad to do so.

either of magic, and kunai build is viable later game for mvp and pvp. its matter of your stat preferences. magic ninja is easy to insta cast so they're strong spammer, where kunai ninja deals massive damage with throw kunai, and rapid throw.
