Genes don't do 500k-2m damage in one hit.

 

They can fight ghost mvps ffs. So what if the sura does 2m damage? You need to setup to that the gene can just start bombing the MVP with little to no setup at all.

I'm only saying to keep the cd, not the SP penalty because its so stupid how we're sitting ducks in PVP/PVM everytime we use gfist.

A sura that fists valk and does not kill it in one hit will have a hard time setting back up compared to a genetic

not to mention that if u misclick on ur gfist, u are screwed and be ready for another 10-30secs to set up, if u get lucky wings too

Lol bomb ressing on Valk is actually quite a bit of effort.

look, im not saying gfist isnt good, but there is no justification to the 10 sec cd + sp recovery

havent tested, but i assume that if you die you lose the sp cooldown and gfist cooldown.  if this is true, then obv you gfist --> poison bottle --> token --> gfist

You also lose RD which hurts your damage, once you token you have to berry zen and fury. Assuming you dont have to speed pot away from the mvp to do that as most can kill you with berserk status. Oh and you lose FCP, so if anything you're still gimped.

Genetics need a fair of support (strings, sacrament) to outdamage a pre-nerf sura. Considering the material cost and how much more useful sura is in every other field of the game, the sura's current nerf makes sense.

If you really want mvp scene balance you'll need to talk about nerfing genetic in addition to lowering gfist damage before removing the cooldown.

A game where 1 to 2 options out of 16+ are considered a no-brainer because they are clearly and by far the best-- is poorly designed. It should be a system where you are torn 16 ways with indecision. There ared a lot of nerfs needed for the best skills to come down to what the other classes are currently able to achieve.

I like the way gfist works right now. Suras cannot just mindlessly spam Gfist all day without serious consequences.

Suras should have to choose whether to they want to ensure a kill with gfist, and be unable to act for the next 10 seconds, or if they want to risk getting the kill with GoH or TC, but never lose control of their character.

I suppose if we gave genetic access to cursed circle and mental strength it'd be fair if sura could hit ghosts.
