from what im calcing +7 valk hammer is comparable to +13 crimson mace (in AB dmg), but 2k less in CC. Also more expensive because of the extra ak card.. but higher refines probably better than +15 crimson mace. level 4 tho, hard to get those refines.

Crimson weapon is trash whenever it's not maxed out to +15 and not wielded by lvl 170 and above

 

even with 2 point refine difference when wielded by lvl 170++, the EAtk difference is quite apparent

 

+13 (219 EAtk Bonus) & +15 (275 EAtk Bonus) = 56 Eatk difference

 

If you already have crimson mace, you can also stick with that. It's CC era nowadays since the introduction of Cylinder Hairband, cheaper materials too (Cannonballs) compared to AB (Bottle grenade&Acid Bottle) although the damage is still a bit lacking for non-shadow, non-undead, non-holy and non-ghost targets even with endow and mild wind :heh:

Valkyre Hammer also requires a high refine to match other weapons, as basically 2/3 of it's total atk to be worth it is from refine bonus. Works better with buffs, and functions well with pyro, but without it isnt too hard for other weapons to match it. The main thing saving it is for being a lv4 weapon :v

Hello

I want to ask about c.mace's elemental property, would a water property c.mace with 2AK gives significant damage to ifrit if I am using AB againt it?

Acid Bomb is forced neutral so weapon element doesnt matter, it wont affect it.

i tested a +15 double liberation Erde EA10 vs a +15 double liberation crimson mace. on TaoG, there was a 10k difference in favor of the  crimson mace

Hello to my fellow Genes 

I have tried the the Azzy's Genetic Comparator please correct me if I am wrong, I tried comparing +14 Vicious mace and +14 robo arm and Vicious mace is a little stronger than Robo arm with like 5-7% difference with CC and AB.

Don't forget that all vicious weapons requires you to be at least lvl 160 to wield them and to answer your previous question, vicious mind mace will have lower damage than robot arms even when both at +15 if not counting the relevant associated enchants and just rely on the card slot alone, moreover your character have massive total str because massive total str favor robot arms more than vicious mind mace due to higher base weapon attack. :p_smile:

You're ignoring the fact that vicious weapons has the huge atk bonus when overrefined.

 

I do belive Vicious Mace starts to top Robo Arm at around +12 even without the random enchants

Vicious Mace with proper enchants will outdamage Robot Arm, even at lower upgrades.

but the RNG factor for getting vicious weapons with proper universal damage boost enchants is similar to MvP card drop I think, that's why I noted it in my previous post and excluding it in my previous calculations :heh:

 

Enchants like Boss damage, Normal enemies damage, Flat physical percentage damage Size damage & Range damage boosts are hard to come by judging from how much and varies the enchant possibilities described in silvianna post not too long ago.

You can't use current Azzy calculator to include Cylinder Hairband Bonus automatically, but you might want to give a shot on Nirvanna's aka Mike compiled damage calculator here and use the skill damage bonus field to include CHB bonus. Although I'm still in doubt whether the geneticist part has been set up properly or not.

Maybe Mike or someone who knew him ingame could ask and fill us in on his calculator update progress :p_smile:.

 

AFAIK the Ranger and GX parts are working properly now, but I haven't try the Geneticist, Warlock and Magical Summoner parts :heh:

 

In case geneticist calculator's part haven't properly set yet, you can read the guide in topic1 and topic2 for cylinder hairband current effect and how it affects cart cannon formula.
